What’s New in dcTrack 9.2.3

The following features are new or enhanced in dcTrack 9.2.3 for an easy, fast, and complete second-generation DCIM solution.

UniversalConnector G2 to Enable a Single Pane of Glass For More Complete Technology Asset Management

dcTrack 9.2.3 includes a new enhanced UniversalConnector G2. This feature provides bidirectional integration between dcTrack and multiple systems such as ServiceNow®, Cisco ACI®, and Equinix SmartView®, enabling data center professionals to synchronize assets and their attributes across different systems in real time.

With the UniversalConnector G2, users gain a streamlined and adaptable solution for syncing comprehensive asset data, including associated ports and circuits, across third-party applications. The feature offers granular control through independent filtering options for asset creation and updates, making it easier to manage and unify disparate data sources. Static data mapping also ensures alignment between systems, helping eliminate redundant data entry and boosting efficiency.

Notably, the UniversalConnector G2 supports concurrent integrations with multiple platforms. Organizations can connect dcTrack to a range of external tools—such as ServiceNow®, Cisco ACI®, Coupa®, SAP®, and others with compatible APIs—to centralize asset and connectivity data across their environment.

Additional Enhancements

dcTrack 9.2.3 includes other enhancements including a public API for dashboard widgets, bulk edit for ports for all classes, residual current monitoring (RCM) and carbon usage charts, asset audit for passive items, and media type of Twinax.
