Sunbird Named a Top 10 Most Innovative Data Center Company to Watch by CIO Insights
We are proud to share that Sunbird was recognized by CIO Insights as one of their 10 Most Innovative Data Center Companies to Watch.
"We will present the leading data center companies in the world and their contribution to making the world more digital-friendly," said Richard Thomas, Editor, CIO Insights. "They are constantly innovating and disrupting the data center space with their ability to look at the future. From going green to focusing on security, managing small data, big data, AI, and distributed enterprise models, every organization has adapted to the new normal and is here to make a difference."
In an interview with Sunbird's President, Herman Chan, CIO Insights detailed why Sunbird is a leading innovator in the data center space.
"Sunbird Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) enables data center professionals to centrally track and manage all their resources, across their entire estate, in a single pane of glass," said Chan. "With our tool, organizations can make smarter data center management decisions to better achieve their sustainability, productivity, efficiency, and cost-containment goals."
When Sunbird was formed, the team asked data center professionals why their legacy DCIM software failed them. The Sunbird team kept hearing the same: these tools were difficult to use, slow to deploy, lacked integration, and had incomplete functionality.
"We wanted to solve these real customer problems with a new class of DCIM software that dramatically simplifies data center management," said Chan. "The key pillars of second-generation DCIM include automation via integration, zero-configuration analytics, ease of use, AI and machine learning, and completeness of capabilities including asset, capacity, change, energy, power, environment, security, and connectivity management, along with 3D visualization and built-in business intelligence and analytics."
Sunbird is honored to receive this award. Together with our customers, we are radically changing the way data centers are managed with elegant software, and are thrilled for this recognition.
