A data center cooling tower is used to remove heat generated by IT equipment within a data center by utilizing the process of evaporative cooling.

Data center evaporative cooling using a cooling tower involves using ambient air and water evaporation to dissipate heat from the data center, where warm water from the facility is circulated to the top of the cooling tower and exposed to air, causing the water to cool through evaporation before being recirculated back to the data center for cooling. This process repeats continuously to maintain an optimal temperature in the data center.
